Ann Ormsby earned a master’s degree in journalism from NYU and has worked in marketing communications for nonprofit and government organizations. When she left full-time employment to raise her boys, she started writing short stories, novels and opinion pieces about topics that affect family relationships. Her op-eds have appeared in the New York Daily News, The Newark Star-Ledger, and The Huffington Post.
Invested in her small New Jersey town, Ann has served on the Westfield Board of Education and the Westfield Mental Health Council. Currently, she is co-vice president of the Westfield Service League, a nonprofit that raises money for local charities. She works as a bookseller at The Town Book Store, where she loves helping people find their next good read.
Secrets of the Midwife, an emotional story about chasing dreams in a morally gray world, is her third novel.
